Went for the first time today. Very true rating. Food was so good. Cornbread was so soft. I wanted another one. Green beans and black eyed peas were ah-mazing 😋. Just wish the lady was a bit more heavy handed when serving my etouffee 😉 Will definitely be back.
Awsome food really authentic cajun food.
First time here felt like home. Got here right as they opened at 11am. Cajun music got me into a great mood. Had one of the daily specials off the steam table. Made to order options like fried boudin balls or catfish etc too. This is good old-fashioned down home country Cajun cooking! The portions are generous and delicious. Only open for LUNCH on WEEKDAYS. Plenty of room inside. Bring the whole office, they'll love it.
Good Southern Louisiana food!!! So glad they are open for dinner on Thursdays and Fridays now!! They have live bands on Friday that are really talented! Don't wait to late to get there, they get busy fast!
Authentic Cajun cuisine. Try the creol greenbeans and crawfish etoufee. The desets are outstanding! This place is a treasure.
This was my first time visiting and first let me say the layout is so retro i loved it! The staff were so kind and welcoming and the food topped it all off! Everything was delicious.
Food is good but small portions for da buck
I really love their food. Perfect taste. Great preparation. The staffs were very kind and friendly. This is such a great place for dine in, the place was very nice and clean. Their dessert taste real good.
We came here for a work lunch. The service was quick and the food was great. I had fried fish with corn on the side. Both were delicious. Most menu items are fried, so there aren't many healthy choices, but the food is great. The batter used has a great flavor.
Eh, decent food, nothing special. Tea was good, rice was pretty dry
Happy to have found this place 🤗
I should have gotten the Crawfish etouffee and the green beans smothered in bacon grease, but instead I ordered the fried shrimp with homemade chips it was delicious but everything there looks so delicious I will definitely be coming back. The place is like a cafeteria style you walked threw, order what you want to put it on your plate and you're off, unless it's a fried item then you have to wait a little bit. The employees there were super nice the place was clean definitely will be going back.
Thank you for the delicious meal that was delivered to our door on the third of April. We truly appreciate how your staff has helped during this quarantine time. Thanks and many blessings to all. Royce and Denise of Primrose of Pasadena/The portofino,
After relocating from Louisiana, where we are known for our food, it’s been a struggle to find anything good to eat. I tell you what, LOOK NO FURTHER! Credeur’s is hands down the best Cajun food this side of the Sabine! These Lake Charles natives have really hit it out of the park and the owner and staff are so friendly! If you are ever in this area for lunch during the week do your tummy and taste buds a favor, you won’t be disappointed!
Best cajun food in Texas period. I've have never had anything bad here. It's a buffet style restaurant, with fried seafood also. This place is Definitely worth trying.
From Pasadena but went to college at McNeese in Lake Charles-felt like I was back in a friends home. Homemade Southwest Louisiana cooking. Delicious!
Nice little place tucked away in the Deer Park/Pasadena overlap area. Good cajun food with very friendly service. There's a nice bar area but they only serve beer and wine. The night we were there, a great band was playing and everybody had fun. There's a real hometown feel but an authentic Louisiana vibe. Definitely worth checking out.
Great unique Cajun cooking!! Loved the Po Boy Shrimp sandwich there!
Love the place, and especially enjoy the Pokemon gym they have! Me and my son love it and we love Mudbugs! We hope you guys have some good spicy ones for us!! We can't wait!
Good, REAL Cajun food. First time there, got the boudain burger and it was absolutely delicious, and I can't wait to try more menu items.
The best cajun food in the Houston area. The people that run the place treat you like family. The collard greens and green beans are to die for. I regularly drive across town to eat here. The fried catfish and shrimp are lights out.
Everytime we go it is soooo GOOD ESPECIALLY when they have the bands !
Excellent food! The pistolets are a must... Even the green beans were amazing. Everybody must try this place.
Sha' babe it's goooooood cookin'!
Authentic Louisiana Cuisine! So good and it reminds me so much of home. One of the best places I've eaten the dishes he serves in or out of Louisiana. Plus it's family owned with a friendly service.
Oh my my food is great and so relaxing to enjoy lunch i definitely will go back the meatloaf is the bomb very good
Live band, cold beer and fun for the kids!
The band was awesome. The crawfish not so good as we would expect from this place .
True southern and Cajun food. You will leave stuffed and happy. Had the Crawfish enchiladas, corn, black eyed peas and cornbread. Some of the best black eyed peas I've had. Cornbread was fantastic. The enchiladas were good, but I would try something different next time. Get there early! The line gets crazy.
Friendly service, quick fresh food. Boudain balls are delicious. Fish is also good.
I would DEFENATLY go back The FOOD IS AMAZING!! ONLY I DON'T KNOW THERE HOURS, AND DAYS THET ARE OPEN.👍
Fantastic food and service. Super nice owners and staff.
If you’re in the Pasadena area and pass this place up, you’ve made a big mistake. DELICIOUS CAJUN FOOD!! You can’t go wrong. It’s worth the stop. You’ll be back for more.
I loved the catfish I topped it with crawfish étouffée. Absolutely astonishing!
ery down home feeling. You get greeted by the hostess when you walk in and get asked if you've been before. We had not been before and we got told how to order and what to do. I appreciate this on so many levels because I'm always confused when going to a new restaurant.Once again I went to Credeur's for lunch and once again it did not disappoint. I was greeted by Lexie, she told me to try to Shrimp Bella, so upon her suggestion I did, and it was wonderful. I love their food and I adore this family.
This place is a nice find, kind of hidden if you're not familiar with Pasadena but worth the effort. Customer service is excellent, ownership is very friendly. I had the crawfish and it was very much classic cajun style with a nice kick to it.Eating outside in this lovely weather was awesome.
This is really a 4.9 star rating but I rounded up. The food is everything I want from homestyle cajun cooking, with buttery sauces that have that hot kick but not so much that you can't taste the freshness of the seafood. The boudin and the snack sized boudin balls come in either spicy or smoked. They're so popular there's now a sales case with frozen ones to take home. Superlative food makes for long lunch lines. They move fast, and when the food runs out, you're out of luck on the steam table specials. My only 1/10 of a star reduction is serving in styrofoam to go containers. It makes taking leftovers easier, but it diminishes some of my joy. But I come back anyway because the food calls me. Don't forget a slice of buttermilk pie! Sweet, tangy, buttery perfection.
Excellent food! Friendly people! Do yourself a flavor and try it, you won't be disappointed! I will definitely be back!!
Legit. All the food is delicious and the service is friendly. The previous location was great as well. Alil pricey but I guess you gotta pay up for good food nowadays....
Food was really good. Reasonable prices.
Outstanding greeters! Amazing food! Will definitely be back!
Best Cajun food in 3 counties! They have a great variety of choices and you can get smaller portions. I can't wait to go back!
We had a bit of a hard time finding this place, but it was worth the search. Best home-cookin' Cajun food I have had in a very long time. Be sure to save some room for dessert -- or better yet take some with you to go. You'll need that sugar lift in the afternoon after the generous portions served here.
My fam is from lake Charles and this place us authentic cajun food. We just happened to be in Pasadena for a reunion and came across this gem. The pistolete was probably the best one I've ever had. The smoked boudin was so yummy. Wish we had one closer to okc! They also had a love zydeco band the night we went which was the icing on the cake. We had a party of 18 and they found tables for us quickly too.
Absolutely fantastic staff. So helpful and the food was great!!!
Delicious! Some of the best etouffee I've ever had. Hours are very limited but it's worth working your schedule around.
This was our first time here and it did not disappoint. We ordered the crawfish etouffee and meatball. Petite size was perfect for me. My husband loved his etouffee and meatball. We also ordered green beans (loved them).White beans and carrots. Tried the egg roll (fresh and crunchy) and the smoked boudin (great flavor but the casing was very tough). Cornbread muffin was too sweet for my taste but that's me. Overall great experience! Took pictures but couldn't get them to post.
Best kept secret in the Houston area.
I enjoyed my lunch. Nice portions. Too much rice. Everything was delicious. I didn't care for the atmosphere.
I eat kosher, and just about everything is pork, crustaceans, or shellfish. I was told that the meatballs were all beef, so I got that. It was bland, and I had some suspicion that there was some swine flesh in it.
